Employee Survey Paper and Pencil Data Collection

  • Clients often decide, after a consideration of the features and requirements of the various methods of collecting survey data from employees, that the traditional paper-and-pencil method is the most appropriate for some groups of employees.
  • When this decision is made, the Gelfond Group often recommends group sessions for administering surveys using this method. The group sessions can be conducted by client personnel who, if requested, can be trained by the Gelfond Group in administration techniques.
  • We also furnish all materials needed for the administration sessions, including a text to be used at the introduction of the sessions which describes the purposes of the survey, the mechanics of completing the questionnaire, and an explanation of the procedures used to ensure the confidentiality of employees. Completed surveys are then shipped to our offices for processing.
  • For those unable to attend a group session, the Gelfond Group provides pre-addressed postage-paid return envelopes, to be distributed to these employees who are asked to mail their completed questionnaires directly to the Gelfond Group data processing center. This procedure ensures that completed questionnaires are protected and that employee anonymity is guaranteed.
